The Government of Yukon supports local businesses through a number of financial incentives found in the sidebar, as well as the Yukon Business Nominee Program

The Yukon Business Nominee Program
operates under an agreement with the Government of Canada allowing the Yukon government to nominate for immigration to Canada those individuals with proven business skills who want to live in Yukon, own and operate a business and make a significant contribution to the community.

: Yukon is seeking people with at least five years business experience who can start a new business, partner with an existing business, or purchase and operate an existing business to enhance the production and marketing of goods, services, exports, technology or research in the priority sectors.
